We’re thrilled to share that BEQUIA has added to her list of regatta victories with three 1st-place finishes out of three races at the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta in the Spirit of Tradition division.

Conditions were windy and bumpy, with what looks like 6-8-foot seas in the photos. This favored larger boats and BEQUIA was the largest in the division. Nonetheless, a win is a win.
“Many people came up to us and commented on how fast BEQUIA was sailing,” said the yachts owners. “Design was a lot of it.”
“BEQUIA set sail with the latest technology in sails, running rigging, carbon fiber, and were flying everything in 25 knots of wind. All that tech pushes the abilities of a boat. That BEQUIA so easily handled the stress of sailing so hard, was quite something. Her design and care let us do that.”
